Procedure for entry of foreigners and stateless persons into Ukraine during the quarantine period (as of 03 Dec)
In addition to the requirements for the procedure for entry into Ukraine of foreigners and stateless persons, according to the Government Resolution, from December 3, 2021 for the period of quarantine temporarily banned from crossing the state border to enter Ukraine for foreigners and stateless persons arriving in Ukraine from South Africa, the Republic of Botswana, the Republic of Zimbabwe, the Republic of Namibia, the Kingdom of Lesotho, the Kingdom of Lesotho, the Republic of Mozambique, the Republic of Malawi and have been in the territory of these states for at least 7 days during the last 14 days, except for the following categories of persons:
- foreigners and stateless persons permanently or temporarily residing in Ukraine;
- foreigners and stateless persons who are spouses or children of citizens of Ukraine;
- employees of foreign diplomatic missions and consular posts, missions of international organizations, accredited in Ukraine, and members of their families;
- other categories of foreigners and stateless persons in agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Citizens of Ukraine, as well as foreigners and stateless persons permanently or temporarily residing in Ukraine, are spouses or children of citizens of Ukraine who will arrive in Ukraine from the above-mentioned states and have been in their territory for at least 7 days during the last 14 days. 14-day self-isolation, observation.
At the same time, the provisions of subparagraph 3 of paragraph 7 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 09.12.2020 № 1236, which determine the grounds for exemption of persons crossing the state border from self-isolation, will not apply to travelers arriving in Ukraine from the above states.
The procedure for crossing the state border to enter Ukraine during the quarantine period of other categories of travelers remains unchanged.
All foreigners regardless of the country of arrival to enter Ukraine must have a policy (certificate) of insurance issued by an insurance company registered in Ukraine, and covers the costs related to the treatment of COVID-19, observation, and is valid for the entire period of stay in Ukraine
