On May 27, 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution №627 "Some issues of stay on the territory of Ukraine of foreigners and stateless persons who came to Ukraine to work as a correspondent or representative of foreign media."

The decree established that for the period of martial law and for 30 days after its abolition or termination, foreigners and stateless persons who came to work as a correspondent or representative of foreign media during the martial law regime are not subject to restrictions on temporary stay on the territory of Ukraine.
