Dear Albanian friends! 

On behalf of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Albania, I cordially congratulate you on the 108th anniversary of Independence and the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Albania. 

After centuries of persecution and trials, the Albanian people gained their freedom on November 28, 1912, and formed the Government of Independent Albania, led by the leader of the Albanian National Movement, Ismail Kemal. 

The free and inspired by the national heroes of the people of Albania today confidently follows the path of democracy and strengthening of sovereignty, by ensuring and developing the national traditions, culture and authority of the country in the international arena. 

Ukraine is grateful to Albania for the active development of bilateral relations and the constant support of our state on all international platforms. 

Today, the relations between our two states are gaining weight in the field of economy, culture and tourism. 

We have something to open to each other, we have something to complement each other. We wish the friendly Albanian people success and prosperity and that this solemn Independence Day serves the idea of further unity of Albanians in the name of freedom and prosperity.
